Case study

A commission starts with a conversation about an idea — and ends with an object that can stand in a room, a gallery or on a stage.

For Il mito di Narciso, artist Egzon Malaj commissioned a full-body cast that became the centre of his work. Pose, material and surface were developed with the artist; the casting itself took place in the studio in Berlin.
